  • Welcome to the POST GRADUATE SCHOOL ONLINE APPLICATION portal of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University. The IBBUL PG Online Application Portal allows prospective PG students to apply for any PG course of the University.

    To access the application portal, a prospective applicant must activate an account on the portal by generating a transaction ID and making the necessary application fee payment. This activation is a one-time action that will be used to setup the applicant's profile within the system.

    All enquiries, complains and suggestion should be directed to the portal administrator or any staff of the ICT/Computer centre Or you can send a message using the contact form on the University's main website contact page.

  • This is to inform the general public that online sale of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State, Postgraduate Application Forms for the 2017/2018 Academic Session has commenced.

    All interested applicants should visit the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai website/portal at http://portals.ibbu.edu.ng/pgapp for available courses, requirements, details of purchase, filling and submission of the online forms. Please note the following information:
    1. The cost of each application form is N15,300.00 only.
    2. The sale of application forms and submission will end on 30th September 2017
    3. The phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the applicant should reflect on the online application form
    4. The phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the applicant’s referees should be included on the online application form
    5. Please ensure that you have the basic entry requirements of five O’Level Credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings
    6. All candidates are to be subjected to a written test on Thursday 19th October, 2017. All candidates for professional programmes are exempted from the written test.

    Candidates are advised to read the specify entry requirements on the Advert:
    1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes Applicants must possess:
    - A minimum of Bachelor’s degree or HND from a recognized University or Polytechnic
    - NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate/letter
    - 5 O’ Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
    - Any other qualification acceptable to the Senate of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai
    2. Master’s Programme, Applicant must possess:
    - Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of good second class honours from recognized institutions
    - NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate/letter
    - 5 O’ Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics

  • Instructions/Guidelines
  • A. Generate your application Transaction ID on the portal by clicking on the link titled "Click here to generate your PG APPLICATION TRANSACTION ID" below. You will be requested to enter your full name, GSM phone no and email address.

    B. Make payment to activate your application account by using any of the following methods:
    (1.) Interswitch Bank Branch Deposit: Make payment of the stated amount on the PG APPLICATION TRANSACTION ID slip generated in above into any of the following banks via Interswitch Payment System. Make sure the amount paying is exactly as stated on the transaction form and that your Transaction ID also stated on the print out slip is correct. Failure to adhere to this instruction could result to not having your application account being activated.
    (2.) Interswitch WebPAY: Alternatively, if you have your bank debit/credit card details, you can simply make payment of the stated amount on the PG APPLICATION TRANSACTION ID slip generated in "A" above by using the Interswitch WebPAY system. If you choose this option, you will be instantly re-directed to the Interswitch webPAY portal to carry out the transaction.
    (3.) Interswitch QuickTeller: Payment can also be made via Interswitch Quickteller. Visit the QuickTeller website and search for IBB University. Select PG APPLICATION and enter your earlier generated Transaction ID and other requested information.

    C. If the steps above are successful, you will receive a text message via your registered GSM phone no and your email stating that your application account have been activated. You can then proceed with the application. If after payment you have not receive any message within 2 hours, please attempt login into your account first. If you are unable to log in, then send an email to spgs@ibbu.edu.ng with your Transaction ID and payment details or you can call the help line on the University's website contact page.

    D. After receiving your confirmation text/email, log onto the PG Application portal or CLICK HERE TO BEGIN YOUR PG ONLINE APPLICATION.

    E. Enter your APPLICATION TRANSACTION ID and your password(GSM Phone No) to log in.

    F. If successful, you will be redirected to a welcome page, click on the "Step 1" link below the applicant image on the on the left side of the portal page and enter the correct application information. NB: Click on the subsequent links to enter other information.

    G. After making all the relevant entries, click on the save button to save your submission and "move to ..." to go to the next step. You can correct any information by repeating the process above.

    H. If satisfied with you submission and at Step 10, print a copy of the application for your personal usage.

    I. Please note that if your application has been submitted successfully, the RED Indicator/icon in front of the "Links" would turn GREEN. Then proceed to the next step.

    J. Also note that you can always come back any number of times to edit, preview or print your application as long as it is within the application time frame.
